QBS is a professional M&E Design and Sustainability Consultancy, operating across all sectors of the built environment, including residential, industrial & commercial, hospitality, health & leisure, etc.

Design elements include heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, hot & cold water systems, lighting, power, drainage, sustainability, and so forth.  Our scheme designs are produced on AutoCAD, and covered by appropriate levels of professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

The Practice is headed by Sam Quinn, an industry professional, and member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), with a wealth of experience gained from more than 25 years within the construction sector.

We provide a full range of calculations and sustainability reporting for Planning and Building Regulations, including, but not limited to Part L calculations (SAP/SBEM), Energy Performance Certificates (EPC/DEC), thermal modelling and TM52/TM59 overheating simulations, Sustainability Reports and Energy Strategies, Flood Risk Assessments (FRA), Sustainable Urban Drainage reports and designs (SuDS).
